ok guys i know its a code 8 and i know what top dead center is, but what im wondering is.... WTF is the sencor? and how often do these things go out? think its a ground? think its my timing?

 

is this on a swap motor..?

or the STD motor..?

 

std. stock everything.

 

TDC sensor is in the dizzy.

what does it look like??? cause i just replaced the dizzy the other day and i left out what seemed to be a cover. i know its dumb but it was dark, i just got the car started and i was ready to roll out. i still have the thing i didnt put back in. should i try it?

 

Is it a NEW dizzy? Clear the code and see if it comes back.... Hmmz....I'd say put the cover on just because it is supposed ot be there.... It may not have anything to do with the code....

 

no it was used. and i tried reseting the ecu today. i also ran the car for a few days before the **** started happening.
