I just bought a JDM toda header and I have a Greddy Evo Cat back. I want to get a test pipe made. Does anyone know how long it needs to be. Thanks Stephen

Im pretty sure that Greddy Evo is USDM length, so you will need a USDM testpipe... i suggest getting a T1R testpipe. I have the USDM version, resonated and it works/sounds great.

 

Wrong, a usdm testpipe will NOT fit with a toda header and a greddy evo.

a usdm test pipe will only fit with a usdm length header and usdm length bpipe. most exhausts are usdm length... but all 2.5" jdm headers are longer than usdm headers.

Like I said, im SMSP and he can tell you the exact length. I believe it is 17.25", but PLEASE do not get one made without first asking someone who knows the definitive answer.

 

Odd, because im using a JDM DC header, USDM length testpipe, and USDM Mugen twinloop. Unless the toda header is longer than the JDM DC, correct me if im wrong here.

What i'm saying is this:

USDM Length
stock usdm header and stock cat back - you need the stock USDM length cat or a test pipe of similar length (19" +)

JDM Length
JDM (toda, spoon, 5Zigen, fujitsubo, JDM OEM, DC JDM, etc) header + jdm length bpipe like fujitsubo (same length as gsr bpipe, which is longer than the usdm stock bpipe - most exhausts have usdm bpipe lengths: mugen, t1r, kakimoto, etc) = 12" test pipe/cat

JDM header + usdm length bpipe .... 17" + cat/test pipe

 

You do not have JDM DC header. You have a DC header with a JDM sized collector. Two very different things.

 

What? What are you talking about?
We're not even talking about me.. and I DID have a jdm-sized DC 4-1 a long time ago, same basic size as the toda, which is what the original poster was talking about.
