I need new tires....recommend me one....
I know everyone is raving and ranting about the Falken Azenis but I'm going to be making 1000 miles trips maybe once every two to three months and it won't be seeing autoxing maybe occasional drag (not a high hp car).
So is there a tire you guys recommend me?
Maybe Falken Ziex 512? Pretty good price.... 205/50/15?
EDIT: btw...the falken are about $45.12 a piece but it shows (on vulcantire.com) that it has a load/speed rating of 86/H... H????? isn't that pretty low?

For your needs, I'd say Yokohama AVS ES100, or Kumho MX. Both awesome performers at a great price. Kumho 712's might suit your needs as well. Not as much grip as the others but should wear a little longer.
o...H is 129? i thought it would be like 80 something mph...but you're close enough it's 130mph...it's weird it's goes n,p,q,r,s,t,u,h,v...h came outta no where....

No. The Kumho's (MX) are $79 and the Yoko's are $72 at Tirerack. The 712's can be had for $58.

I don't have any experience with those. For those who do, how do they compare to the Kumho 711's (which are $43 a piece)? Just trying to help this guy out.

because ziex's are terrible........had them and hated them. I now have azenis which i have had for 4-5k with miniaml wear, and several trips to the strip. Just keep them inflated properly and rotate them and they can last for a while especial highway driving like you say that you do.
15k okay...we'll say 20k max...i'm expecting to get at least 25k in my new tires...which is pretty little...my dad's telling me to look for tires with 50k mile warranty on them.... LOL
