you could try drilling the broken blot out... if you got air tools handy.

i do plan on taking it to the shop because once it happened, i put the wheel back on and said forget it.. hahah.. i knew it was going to happen.. but whats the best method for a shop to do it?.. so they dont charge a arm and leg saying i need to replace the whole thing or whatever...

They'll cut the remainder of the bolt between the shock fork and control arm bushing or cut the shock fork to get the shock/spring assembly out. The old bushing is usually pressed out and a new one pressed in. Guys familar with Hondas can do this while the control arm is still on the car.

That's exactly what I did.. But I didn't press mine out.. I took a sharp bit and air hammered it out.. Then I pressed a new bushing in with a Universal Ball Joint Press. Pretty easy..

Have fun..

True dat. I ran into the same problem in the rear of my Integra with the bolt in the sleeved bushing. Couldn't get it out if it killed me. Tried some anti seize and it didn't do anything. I finally took it up to the shop and he said he couldn't torch it because the ABS line runs right through there and it would be expensive to replace that line if it was ruined. So he ordered just that part what ever the bushing thing is called and cut it out and replaced it with the new part. But he said another alternative was to replace the whole lower rear control arm which would only have been $98 each side for my GS-R.
