I live in Northern Virginia, but would travel to anywhere in Mid-Atlantic for a reputable shop.

I would also recommend them. I have been to the shop and talked to Llyod, the head machinist. He is very knowledgable and showed me many of his projectsa and all of the work he was doing at that time. His work looked very good.

If you don't mind driving down to Virginia Beach, then Chuck or Shad at Abacus Racing 757 363-8878 is the place to go. They do outstanding machine work/porting, tuning, or swaps. just ask Terry (Boostfed) 500.5whp/333.4ft-lb torque 25psi
Abacus is a authorized dealer and tuner of Hondata.

Steven Sakai is probably one of he most well respected engine builders and highly sought after tuners on the east coast. Price is DAMN good. Just takes a little time as he is very busy with sponcering a Honda-Challange car and all of his customers even beign full time. Worth the wait IMHO.

I'm another satisfied sgT customer, although I know he is pretty busy these days, so you will have to check w/ him to see if he'll take the time for you. Price is good if you believe in doing things right the first time. Steve

If you're looking for a race engine builder the best I've worked with is Jim Justice, Justice Race Engines 301-624-1000.

As a cylinder head porter I work with a bunch of pro race engine builders, .. I like working with JJ the best, .. knows his stuff, is honest and does great work.

yea i do plan on getting steve(sgt) to tune my hondata, when i decide on what cams to get, im leaning towards Jun 3s.

but yea, chuck and shad at abacus are good people, when shad was still working at accuracy, i had chuck tune my car with the JRSC.

Hands down Steve Sakai..

He is the man. Not only am I going to promote him because he is a good friend, but because of obvious reasons....

He and I are working on our business venture right now, to bring motor "packages" as well as custom builds to higher popularity...

Awesome motors at competitive prices with satisfied customers and an outstanding business name is the goal.

Steven Sakai in Fredericksburg, VA - 571.238.7607
Ben Schaeffer in Woodbine, MD - 1.301.854.6252

Both have done excellent work on my car numerous times. I highly recommend.
