If a motor falls to the ground while on the car will it hurt the tranny or linkage?

Default If a motor falls to the ground while on the car will it hurt the tranny or linkage?

my friend is selling my is ls tranny but he crashed his car and he broke the driver side motor mount to the motor on the ground i need the linkage also. is it a bad idea to buy the tranny or is mostly its fine? thanx.

as long as its not cracked and leaking fluid you should be ok but oil pan might be dented if he dropped it like you said.
