does VIS also carry cf trunks for EG's? anyone know how muuch they go for?

they look sick on GTT but i dont think 400-500(not sure about exact price, go to visracing.com) for a mostly comestic mod would be suitable..maybe just me

 

is it even half the weight of a normal metal hatch?

The back hatch on a teg is mostly glass anyway, is that even going to save any weight?

 

I can see it on an eg but not a teg.

Depends on how light the tailgate is. I believe Rodrez has the carbon fiber tail gate. Ask him

Also Seibon makes barbon fiber tailgates as well....I'm pretty sure its going 400-500 bux like the vis.

 

Yeah, they're not cheap (yet), but the stock tailgate on a 92-95 has a pretty good amount of weight on it. The VIS tailgate that I got only weighs 6lbs, and uses all of the factory latches, seals, and even the plastic interior cover.
