Ok, i did the search and i found a better deal on motor from http://www.jdmhondaparts.com the b16a2 OBD2 then the previously planned B18b. I was wondering what to do with the wiring. Can i still use the EX wiring harness and just plug it right up to the supplied obd2 ecu.

 

as long as your obds mach yeah it will pretty straight forward. there is 2 obd2's obd2a and obd2b

 

So i would have to get a special year of EX harness to match the OBD2ver1 or 2

OBD2a was 96-98 and OBD2b was 99-00 just get the version that came with the year car you are using and that will make things very easy
