My brother needs some help. He wants to install a GSR Head on a B18 Bottom. What do you think about this mod and is it a good mod? I know that his existing engin is non-vtec and the GSR is a Vtec so it is suppose to get him upto about 200 Horses off the back, but is it worth it and if so does anyone know where in NYC or CALI I can find this Head?????

OH Yes, what should the Heads come with to be a bolt on mod? (Soleniod, VTECH Wire Harness, etc.) Please Help!!!

ls/vtecs with a gsr head do not make 200 hp. you, sir, have been lied to. they make 170 hp with 127 tq, unlike 142 hp and 127 tq with the ls or 170 hp and 121 tq with the gsr.

 

but.. .build the LS/VTEC right, up the compression with some cams....
and you are hitting 200+whp
