i respect your knowledge in other posts but thats false info to my personal experiences. its totally relative to what seat you choose.
i daily drive my civic with a sparco sprint. no problems at all to me. i think it offers much more proper support then my stock eg seats which are crap. i can commute to school, or to la and back from the 909, etc etc with no comfort problems. i dont ever slouch in my seat or have the lay back lazy style going on anyway so that may have somethin to do with it.
if he picks a fixed back seat that fits his stature he'll be fine. my buddy joe, zer0zer0 typeR had the bride zeta II's in his itr. im black, and blessed with a healthy ***, and i just couldnt get used to the small ***/hip area ..haha. but my sprint is a little wider, which is more comfortable for me, while still offering support.
a lot of my friends sit in my seat like "holy ****..this isnt bad at all".
kjeg94 has sparco seats also, he can attest this.
p.s. id like to add that the addition of the sparco sprint to my car was one of the best modifications i could have done for my autocross habit as far as modifications to the car go.

I've been semi-daily driving my mustang with X2C fixed back seats, I found them a lot better than stock junk. A set of red sparco sprints are going in my civic as soon as I get off my *** and install them

What about Old Skool Volkswagen Aftermarket?
Thats what I'm doing for the Mustang, you just have to get the Brackets custom made, but I've NEVER been so happy with a seat in my life, very light, very cushy on the tushy and they sport my 5 points.
Sorry, the picture was taken awhile ago with an old cam.

I've had 2 sets of Sprints in my car and I love the support they offer. They're not uncomfortable for me at all. If anything, I can't get used to sitting in most stock seats because they don't support me very well. I was only saying they would probably be uncomfortable for him because most people who go from a reclinable stock seat to a fixed racing seat will not enjoy or be used to the change. Well, at least initially. Generally speaking, fixed racing seats are uncomfortable for people who don't know what they're getting into. Just figured I would give him a heads up. Personally, I'm used to fixed racing seats and they don't bother me at all...

sparcos all day long, from san diego to la and back and i feel fine...that actually are better then a stocker due to the fact that is pretty much holds you instead of you sitting yourself up...

if your ballin outof control and sit all gansterish and **** you will hate a fixed seat, i think its damn comforable. also if your on the think side make sure you get a big seat.
one bad thing no tilt wheel + short legs+ fix seat= PITA getting in and out, ive got it down now though
