This is my new name, I used my friends account for a while, but I decided to make my own since the old one made me look like a hardcore drug user. haha.

Anyways, Has anyone read the book "Civic Duty" by Alan Paradise? It's kind of old, (made in 2000) but a very good read in my opinion. Cleared up a lot of questions I had and the book was in terms I could understand.

Also, What's everyones favorite wax? I bought black magic and that stuff sucks *****. So i used my dads Collinite (sp?) insulator wax and it worked pretty damn good.

 

use mothers clay bar and meguairs 3 stage...
i know its not a civic/eg, but i washed my dads car today. first time using these items, and found out they are great.

DAMN!!..look at the basketball hoops reflection in the before and after pic. Pretty sweet.

may make you a lil faster jk

but i did hear once i think on speedvision.. this guy in his doorslammer drag car gained around 2 or 3 tenths just by going from a dirty car to a clean waxed car. but i guess at this speeds they run at it "may" help? or maybe he was just yanken our chain.. lol who cares .. I dont wash my car either

and i use the same stuff, clay bar, meguiars 3 step, and top it off with some gold class, and then keep it shiny with meguiars quick detailer every now and then

i'd do a starsky and hutch slide across the hood of ya dads car, but that **** is so slick and shiny id go so fast and break my hip. Use that clay bar then get a buffer then do clay bar again and get a few friends to help ya do the wax and work it in. You talk bout shiny then.

thats the best wax evaR! It even did the building!

 

I always top my car with s100 carnuba wax. You would be hard pressed to find a better wax for $15 and it's available at your local harley stores.

 

try hitting up your local mopar dealership. get some stuff called "paint sealant". that **** is the best stuff in the world. it makes your paint feel like glass and last for years. i think that stuff is over a bill though, but try asking the prep guy if he has some that he wants to sell. he might just give you a bottle or sell you some. it's really good, give it a try.
