Default KYB AGX

I just got these shocks, and I was wondering how many of you guys have the ones with the black adjuster ****? Also, I thought these were 5-way adjustable. I have the ones with the settings on the top of the rod. Is there much of a difference between the 2? Thanks.

THe adjustment **** is different per vehicle. All 4 of my KYB AGXs on my Teg have the adjustment on the top. I know the Civic Si rear ones have the black **** on the side for the rear struts. Either way, it does the same thing. But as for being 5 ways...KYBs are only 5. Tokico (sp?) are 5 ways if I remember correctly.

You said they are 5s? Did you mean 4s? How hard is it to adjust when they are on the car?

Tokico = 5 way

KYB AGX = 4 way

no the are not difficult to adjuast. The adjustment is on the top. They come with little flathead screwdrivers and you just push them in and turn to your selected stiffness. 1, 2, 3, or 4. 4 is the stiffest.

But how do you get to them when they are on the car?

for the front 2, you can see the top of the struts with your hood open. That's all you need to do there. and for the back too, there are 2 panels that pop off revealing the tops or your strut towers. and viola!

Bingo

I have them on H & R Sports, haven't had a problem with them. They've been on for over a year.

All the new AGX's for Integra's are 4-way adj. I believe that there was an 8-way adj offered a couple years back.

If I were you I would just leave what you got, unless you would be willing to upgrade to Koni Yellows or a real set of coilovers like tiens, ect...

koni would probably be the only worth while upgrade...i have the agx's on sportlines right now and they hold up fine...i think its a little more than a 2" drop right now...but id spend the extra for the koni yellows.

Well I am on H&R sports, and I have over a 2 inch drop. All my tires are tucked. When I put the bumpstops back on, will the car raise up at all?

bump stops wont raise the car... but your strut travel will get shorter....

p.s. i got 4 way on my agx , adjusted from the top..
