92' granite sky hatchback for $5.5k...worth it? pix. inside

ok, i know this guy that lives near me and is selling his hb for $5,500. it has an LS motor with 60k miles, 115k miles on the chasis. here are the list of mods:

GSR tranny

i think it looks pretty nice ,,,,but are you sure you want to take over another persons project you never know what some people do to there cars

whats with the red car in the 3rd pic? hope that was the color before he painted it or some crazy *** pearl in the paint job.

yes, that is an mr2...and the 3rd pic. of the car was red because his car used to be red, and now it's granite sky, don't worry, all the doorjams and enginebay is pained too...and yes, those seats are comfortable

I would say yes if everything checks out right. I would get a leak down and compression test on the motor. Make sure everything was done right. I would pay that much for it. Looks like a great car.

i think its worth it. most of the mods are thing i would do, and he kept it nice and clean. i love the color too...only thing i can think of to improve it is maybe adding a snail in the engine bay.

what do you mean? that car doesn't really have that many mods. LS engine is bone stock, only minor bolt ons.

he is a good friend of mine...so i know wat he does to the car, he says that he does race it, but not all the time...but i'm only 16, and i'm in need of a car badly...and this seems like a decent car for me..so i guess i'll buy it

no, those are not R1 seats, they are Recaro SRD style seats...well, i've decided to buy the car afterall..thx for all the help guys
