What would you guys do? I want to know.. I have been saving my money for a while now and I am torn between wheather or not I should swap the money and go turbo. Or get a paintjob and more cosmetic mods..

What would you do?

I guess it is a matter of opinion, but I would like to just get some suggestions and see what you guys think..

Both.

Make it go fast, than make it look good.
As long as you plan on keeping the car for some time, the money will be there. Paintjob makes a lot of difference and could be as cheap as a grand.

Both, but if you can only afford to do one, I choose fast. Looking good isn't as much fun as going fast.

Going fast never goes out of style. Plus a lot of people don't like being called all show no go. Fast always gets respect. Looks can come later. Besides unless you are willing ot spend more then 10,000 on appearance you'll look like the rest of us clones anyway.

go fast!! having a nice looking slow car is no fun. the first question everyone will ask you is what's under the hood or how fast it is.

My thoughts are this. Keep your car looking as much of a POS as possible. And for these following reasons.
When you race someone and beat them it makes them feel more like **** b/c they just lost to a beat up old honda.
It does not draw as much attention to cops.
It does not draw as much attention to THEIVES. When my car looked like **** I never had a problem. The more work I did to make it look nicer the more attention it drew in. Then finally one day came out to go to lunch and it was gone.
I would spend my money on Security first, then performance then looks. B/c it does not do you a lot of good to have a fast good looking car that someone can steal easy.
Hope that helps.

i agree with him. people will always ask "whats under there?" if i were you i would go fast and take your time on the cosmetics. you may change your mind about ho you want your car to look liek further down the road but going fast is the same.

I'd say keep it on a steady ratio sort of...for every two or three performance mods you do, do one appearance mod. Good luck.
