Guess the whp??Going to the dyno today.
Stock b20z block, with ported gsr head, portflow springs and retainers, jun3 cams, cam gears, fpr, jun open header, comptech icebox, hondata p28.. Will post results tonight.. Whats your quess??
Results are in!!! the car was extremely lean.. We are going upgrade the injectors to 310 and put on a skunk2 intake manifold and have the hondata tuned. Didnt mess with it today because the tuner we went to doesnt have the equipment or know how.. Average air fuel was in the 15 to 16 range.. Ouch I know.. Still managed.. 189whp and 134 ftlbs.. revving to 8500rpms.. Im quessing 210whp with more fuel and better intake manifold.. Hopefully I will have it scanned before the end of the night..

my guess on whp might disappoint you (don't get mad pls) baseline will be in the mid 170's tuned 186... you just don't have high enough compression IMO, plus I think the b20z block needs some more work to run up to 9000-9500 rpm. it would be sweet to see you pull 200 whp though...best of luck
lets not 4get as high as jun3 cams rev a stock bottom end is not going to handle it, hope you have atleast ARP rod bolts or you can kiss your engine good bye, yea but everyones right unless you have the compression those expensive cams are a overkill! meanwhile if u still want to use them until your motor is built i suggest u get some stage 1 cams, or ctr cams, i say 160-175whp depending on lil stuff
Check http://www.importreview.com I think they had a identical setup.(Sorry I am too lazy to pull the link for you

how high did you run the motor on the dyno? congrats (i was pretty close tho
)...you should see 200whp with more fuel & tuned hondata

took it to 8500rpms Max power was at 8200 and it held to 8500 solid.. Wont wind it up anymore than that till we build the block..but 189whp was pretty good I thought.. For just slapping it together..
185/140 my guess before we started... not too impressed with the results. As suspected fuel is a culprit, among other things. I'll be working on it though.... Doug challenged me to get 20whp from just the head w/o changing the bottom... He's going to be surprised!
when i had my crx with a b18c5 and complete jun valve and cam setup (stage 3)
I put down 200.8 whp and 136 or 138 torque.
with stock fuel injectors from a b16a just a fuel pressure and v-afc
mine made peak **** power at 8800rpms
just wanted to let you know.

Scary A/F ratio
I'm similar (except for smaller cams) I'm going to Lancer GSR injectors but I dont think you guys got this model. It's the base model that the EVO's are developed from. 330cc and bolt in.

Use 440cc's. The extra cost is miniscule, larger injectors are easy to correct for with Hondata, and the 310cc's won't get you that much further.

Agreed...you need something larger, and the 440's have a better spray pattern than the 370's, the cost difference is negligible. So have you found a decent tuner in ID yet? You coming down for the NHRA, or CMI events in the next 2 months?

yeah, I'll be tuning the car as soon as I get the parts for it. I was thinking about running 440s like everyone has stated.. DSM injectors are that size aren't they?

They're 450cc/min, but after reading this thread I would think twice on it... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=456616
