98 ITR idle problem???
I just installed the factory ECU from a Power Fc and the car now does not want to hold an idle when I come to a stop. I even reset the fuse and disconnected the battery. Intial start up is fine, but when I come to a stop(stoplight/stop sign) it dies. it starts back up ok, but as soon as I come to another stop, it dies. It runs and drives fine. The Power FC was in the car for about 1 1/2 yrs. and the car saw maybe 5000 miles.
I had a similar problem with my chip p28. Every stop the revs would drop below 500 and most of the time die out. All I did was adjust the idle screw on the throttle body, it doesnt die out anymore.
But also check what the previous post mentioned, just in case.

You need to teach it to idle...at least thats what I had to do with mine.
start car and hold down thottle in between 800-1000rpms for at least 10 minutes. When it is able to keep its idle then its done...if that doesn't work, then the fuel cut RPM setting is set too low...raise it to 1500rpms...you'll need a datalogit or fc commander to do this
