NER Solo2 STS Regional Championship wrapped up??
got a much needed win today, while the person beating me in points struggled all day and only finished 4th. i'll have to check the point spread and see just how bad i can drive next weekend and still win for the season. i think i'll be able to finish as poorly as 3rd with him in first and still wrap things up. i'm going for blood though. i won't be happy unless i wrap the season up by giving the class a sound thrashing from the tired, ragged-out bearded mice that power my beast. if it weren't for a damn cone that dropped me from 1.2 second lead to 5th this would be over with already!
nate-new motor for next season? maybe.....

there is no way I can finish any better than my current position which is second. the celica is too fast and has run more events. all i can hope for is to be victorious at the last four events and then maybe i'd be able to take him.
Congrats Nate! I just wish, other than you guys, there were some fast STX guys. I hate this big fish, small pond for this class... and it's getting really expensive to go to national events to get some competition.
I'm going to ask Ron for season points update to get on the site.

after what daddio said about the quaife and understanding just how tired my motor is, my thoughts of the competitiveness of my car in STX have turned around. maybe i'll play there next year and smooth the transition to DSP a little more.
nate-who must really like finishing second if he's thinking of going to STX....

i'll have to ride with you to help with the balast.
oh wait, that weight is without driver (and passenger in this case). oh well, you'll have one of the only SM2 cars that _has_ to run with balast.
you're making it hard for me to root for you in the MRIU. i don't want to be the fastest guy on street tires in our region. no. wait. yes i do. but i wanted to steal that title from you, not inherit it!
