Default need help with pinging GSR

hey guys new to the forum and need some help. I recently bought a 97 b18c motor for a pretty good deal. Heres the setup:
rebuilt comperssion 12.9:1

and running on p28 hondata s200.
The problem is that this motor pings too much mainly around 4K+RPM.
I have already changed to colder plugs, tried to use octane boost(that junk didnt help much), i only get 91 octane in cail, and cannot afford to purchase 100 octane everyday. I also took it to my tuner, he said he removed so much timing its close to nothing and added a load of fuel. It helped the pinging around the 2k-3k rpm, but now it pings really hard from 4k-8.5K.
I wanted to know if changing the head gasket to maybe a thicker or turbo head gasket to lower the compression will help the ping? I really dont want to change the pistons because no more funds. Any suggestions will help!!!!
thanks guys!!

unless u wanna swap pistons that sounds like your only route. thats too much compression to daily drive!
