Default Emblem Theft & body Damage!

Yesterday night, I took my R out for a night on the town. I parked my car at one of the JapanTown garages, thinking everything was safe since it was inside a parking structure. I even parked in betrween a jag s-type and a benz s500. Well, a few hours later I came back to find my emblems had been ripped off with a SCREWDRIVER. I can see it was a flat head by the missing paint on my hatch. Damn these bastards who can't even take off an emblem right. And yes they took off both front and back. They managed to take off some paint in both locations as well. So right now my R is messed up. Anyone got ideas on how to fix this? I got touchpaint from acura but I don't know how to make it look like new. And also, any ideas on how to fill up the holes at home? I've had it with emblems.

Mines were also stolen (only the rear cuz i had face mask on front) last week. I have my insurance pay for it. The rear emblem at acura costs about 55 dollars and the body shop quoted me around 400 for the repainting of the rear hatch and emblem etc.. it was enough for my insurance to cover it. I'm just going to have the shop shave the holes and just slap on a emblem sometime in the future when i want the look again. well good luck fixing this. hope ur insurance helps you

I had my front one ripped off last year. The punks used a screwdriver/pocket knife as well and left several marks on the front clip as well as snappin the emblem in half. The insurance company wrote out a work order to get it repaired and it came out to $300+ CDN.

i don't think so. I haven't shaved them yet, but when i do i don't think they'll cost anymore than putting an emblem there. but insurance is paying for it so i don't think the body shop will complain.

Wont the insurance company say thats riduculous for a few scratches and missing paint? I'm not sure who your provider is or how it works down there in riverside, but up here AAA checks out your car first and then gives you a quote, but it's pretty muhc up to you to find a shop or you can go to their shop? Because if I could fill up my holes through insurance thats a good deal.

FUCKKKKK the same **** happened to me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

DON'T USE THE TOUCH UP PAINT YET, unless you really know what you're doing,
i think if you wanna restore it you're better off trying to take it to a detail or paint shop intead of trying to do it youreself... i wish i was more patient...

hey if you are gonna get work done to get the scratches & stuff out tell me, i might go as well.

Has anybody replaced their "super valueable" red emblems with the normal silver ones?

I was thinking of doing this since my ITR is a daily driver so that'd be one less thing to worry about.

well what the bastards dont know is that my emblems were fake. i got on ebay and got some when i first got the car. That's why I was so surprised because the fake ones were much lighter in color than the stock ones. I mean even people who didn't own hondas told me they knew it was fake. This proves that emblems will be stolen off our cars whether they are fake, genuine, silver, etc. People love our cars and they all want a piece of it.
But please if anyone can tell me how to fix this damage myself. I really don't want to spend any money for some ******'s actions. I just saved up money all summer long for headers and exhaust. I'd hate to spend it on stupid **** like this. I can't go through insurance because I already made alot of claims this year on other cars.

Awhile back I read on here about using JB weld for the holes?? Who posted this and how do i go about doing this? Any response is welcome.

Thanks.
