What Tranny/ECU for 89 HF?

Im thinking about getting a swap... which tranny should i get, like Y1, S1, J1? and is there a certain ecu i need to get? Thanks

What swap do you wanna do? JDM B16A/S1/J1 tranny is a nice combo... you'd a need PR3 or a PW0 ECU. Check out http://www.hasport.com to get some info.

EDIT: I have a B16A/S1 transmission and I love it... just wish it had more torque. 1/4 mile time in my signature.

Go with a junkyard turbo ZC, SI tranny, and a PM7 ECU. That should be fast enough.... and softer on your wallet...

Screw that go B-series. Wayyy more reliable hands down.
