My b16 did not come with a knock sensor.. I go to plug in the wiring and the knock sensor is gone.. what should I do what is the replacement part. off of what car??
is there anyway to run the engine without a knock sensor.... all help greatly apreciated...

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it should fit off of any VTEC mill, honda usually is cool about having one part for 20 different engines. You should go crucify the bastard that stole your sensor. I'll come over and pour some CAM II in his feet and we'll have a barbecue. I had to replace the 2 vac, thingies on my manifold, the tps, the distributor cap and rotor, and my valve cover looks like they used it for a launch pad for nuclear warfare in japan. If any of that is broke '90-'91 teg is the ticket, except the valve cover I hear MUGEN makes a good one. I hate it when they do that ****!!

 

knock sensors are $150.00 thats goddamn expensive!!!!

Sensor is only about $98.00 from dealer and hell you don't really need it if you have your ecu prog. with out a knock sensor or if its a p28...The sensor only backs off 2-4degs if anything, just something they did incase you get bad gas.

if you have a b16a and didnt come with knock sensor i think you might want to get one. just get a used one. cheap from any crx or integra it will fit. right in.
