Default tire size

What would be the right size tire for a '01 4dr Accord with 17s? I want to drop my car but i dont want a big gap in the wheelwell on the sides. I know itll make it higher off the ground if i get bigger tires even if i drop it but its ok cuz im going to buy a lip kit to add more drop. So what tire size should i get????

Victoria Tire & Wheel suggests 205/50-17. 225/40-17 will probably work as well. I know a lot of Accord people run 225/40-18.
