I'm kinda new to the import scene. Got me a 2001 Accord 4dr(4cyl.)...the first thing I wanna do is drop it. I think I came up on a pretty good deal for some new Progress Sport Springs. Are they any good? If so, do I need new shocks, too. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks guys.

 

you might be able to drop it with stock shocks since they're brand new...I also have an '01 accord and I was told by a friend that I would probably only need springs to drop it

 

for now.....but you should replace the shocks in a couple years, with aftermarket shocks

 

Thanks for the input guys. One more question, though. I've only had the car for about 6 months, but I do have about 18,000 miles on it already. Is it maybe time to replace the stock shocks now or can I still use them for a little while longer?

 

if your ganna put lowring spings on you really really sould do shocks too. if you don't you car is ganna look nice but it's ganna chew through tires and feel like a pogo stick on the highway. if your ganna mod a new car do it right or pay the price.
