Default Help me choose a Header: Header Tech vs. AN-R

I'm looking for a new All Motor header for my H22 Civic, and I've narrowed it down to these two: Header Tech and AN-R. Which do you guys feel is better, and please post any good or bad results that you've had w/either one.

seen Header-Tech Dyno's.
but its not a simple bolt on header and the clearance isnt as good as AN-R

An-r has great clearance so daily driving shouldnt be a problem. But lack of Dyno's is the downside for them.
Tough choice.... bottom line.. .. Header tech is proven with ###'s. An-R, has been around a while, yet only seen 2 dynos. Whats up with that!!??? Time to step up An-R.. time to prove your as good as Enzo's headers, or otherwise.. header-Tech captures a bigger bite of the market for a $500 header category. I'm ready to buy 3 or more of your headers!!! . Which one can convince me is the better header gets my $$$.

give Danny Tran Race Fab a call, he makes sick headers. I just got one made for my h22...it's sick. here's a pic while it was being made. I'll post pics of the completed one soon. It looks way better in person. Check out http://www.dtrfab.com

I don't have a cat, so it's okay. I just talked to Enzo there, and they won't even be releasing there h22 header for another month or so. Hmmm, I wish I could see some dyno sheets from the AN-R's now.....

Our headers are RACE PROVEN, look around at the pro's all motor cars and see how many cars are running headers built by our fabricator.

Seems like everybody has a header that is "PROVEN", the JDM 4-1 is PROVEN to be better than most headers on the market, but who here has headers that are being use by the top pro racers?

yeah i also recommend you give him a call..he does make good headers and they are proven to make power..a friend of mines gained 13 hp over a jdm 4-1 header with one of danny's custom headers..but this was on a bseries engine..but atleast it shows how much it made over all for the price of what your paying for

i personally am considering the AN-R header.
a friend of mine has one sitting waiting to be used, and it's really nice.

i haven't seen any dyno graphs for either Headertech or AN-R, but i really haven't been looking to be honest.

but i am interested in both brands due to the cost and performance.

i would like to hear some comments from ones who have used these headers.

All headers crack

It's only a matter of time. Most likely the mild steel gave way to detonation caused by hard driving on poor gas.

ok i went back on the site and noticed that SS is an additional $250 charge, so i guess most or all of the headers are mild steel unless you request for SS and pay the extra $$.

As far as we know, there has been NO AN-R HEADER that has cracked that was our fault. please elaborate regarding this.

btw, the use of header wrap will cause any header to crack and we highly recommend against it.
