here's the catch....

the area by the hinges sat about 1/8 inch higher than the fender, so what I did is I took my dremmel and start grinding the mounting area....but I grinded a little too much and it stripped of the bolt area....

I called fiberimages, and they sent me 4 replacement new bolt housing....and I used fiberglass/bondo repair kit to mount it back, now my problem is the inside bolt thread is stripped, and I really am getting frustarted over it...I have checked with body shop and most of them can repair it for about 50 bucks, but I really don't want to go through it....it won't be perfect for me...

so here's your chance to own a fiberimages hood for a lot less than wholesale price.....

also this has mounting holes for hood pins, so you'll need to use hood pins otherwise you'll have a hole in your hood...

I am going back to stock hood, but prolly order a new one soon, as soon as I sell this one...
