Default any thoughts on this short ram AEM CAI conversion

i plan on getting the skunk2 intake manifold and using my gsr throttle body. however, i hear that the gsr aem cai won't fit with the skunk2 im and gsr tb, so i think im just going to cut my CAI and make it a short ram.

i'll just put the filter where the oem air box used to be.

is there anything wrong with this?

and yah, i hear that short ram intakes are better with toda b'z....

you can make your gsr aem cai intake fit the s2im with just one cut. the tb isn't really the issue, it's where in the engine bay that it ends up (higher, basically). if you have loads of cash i would do new ls/itr tb, itr cable and bracket, and itr aem cai (3" vs. 2.75") but i didn't do any of those...

You will probably make more power with the short version than the long version.
