FS: built B18B1 complete engine swap
I have for sale everything you need for swapping a B18B1 into your Civic/del Sol. But not just a regular B18B1. A built B18B1... Here's the info:
Built B18B1 engine with 0 miles on it. Project ran out of money/time. Built as a F/I setup. Arias dished (low compression) pistons, Eagle rods, stainless steel valves, new Integra Type-R oil pump, new timing belt. Includes distributor, alternator, crank pulley, AEM fuel rail (missing one injector), intake manifold (installed), throttle body. Engine cylinders were honed before assembly, new main bearings, rod bearings. ARP head studs. Cams and cam gears are stock. Oil pan already has port for oil return line.
Clutchmaster stage 3 clutch, Clutchmaster lightend flywheel. Taken from another engine, this clutch is already broken in, with under 3000 miles on it.
5spd LS transmission. Transmission is old but rebuilt.
Integra axles and intermediate shaft, all Integra engine/tranny mounts, Integra ECU, 5spd starter, engine wiring harness.
NO exhaust manifold is included. You'll need to find a stock exhaust manifold or buy a B-series header.
This engine was intended to be used for a turbo setup, capable of producing about 350whp at 16psi. The engine runs, but it was never driven or used. Not even a single gear shift. The block is a '93 B18A1 and the head is a '98 P75 (Integra LS). Engine parts were about $1600. The transmission is questionable. I'll sell the entire kit for $2500 plus shipping: engine, tranny, ECU, axles, mounts, wiring harness, and clutch/flywheel. That's a steal: BUILT engine, virtually new Clutchmaster clutch and flywheel.
E-mail Steve at slewis@charter.net if you are interested. I'm in Fort Worth, TX. I don't mind freight shipping these parts to anywhere in the US. Will work with you on getting the cheapest way to deliver the parts...

wow...hey steve. i totalled my car friday. it was in it's greatest state of running and i was for once happy to leave the setup alone for a while. i just got done stripping everything (teg interior, drivetrain, and suspension) out of the body today. hydroplaned at 70 mph switching lanes on the highway into a rail and tore the whole front end off
.
so the project sol is no longer? shoot me a email if you have time. i'll show you pics of the poor little white hatchback soon.

Ah man! That's horrible, Kevin! Rain sucks. Then again -- it hasn't rain for WEEKS here in Texas, and that sucks too. Hope your OK! I still completely miss the turbo-auto setup and the easy launches, but those autos were never gonna hold...
I still have the Sol, but it's got a different engine in it. Maintaining 350whp was getting too expensive. I'm thinking about trying LS/VTEC or a supercharger. It's pushing 150whp now with a basically another stock B18B1, but 150 still isn't enough. Need 200 at least
Actually the Sol's in storage for now till I buy a house. Some joker broke into it -- only took the radio, but still pisses me off.
This built engine is now on eBay... Hate to see it go, but I'd never make use of its potential... Especially after getting married and buying a house
