Default 92 Honda Accord DX sedan

Trying to help a friend: Engine cranks, won't fire. 'Suspect fuel delivery problem.
'Can't hear fuel pump running in tank.
'Can't find a fuel pump fuse in either box, neither a relay ?! Where are they??
Both ECU fuses are OK.
Your help is appreciated.
Thanks.

You're probably going to want the main relay. It's far, far up under the dash. Do a search to see if the symptoms match.

Agree with Stimp...fuel pump is powered thru main relay. You're due to replace anyway.

Do these things go out often or something and should they be replaced periodically?

I have a 91 wagon and am not sure if I should do this before it goes out on me !!??!!

Thanks!

Don't bother replacing it until you have problems with it. This shouldn't be a maintenance item, it's stupid they're this defective.

Symptoms of a bad main relay:

1) Car cranks but won't start
2) Car starts, but immediately dies after

Both of these are aggravated by hot weather, and will tend to go away after a couple minutes. You can listen for the fuel pump priming at the gas tank, if it doesn't that's likely a main relay problem.

Until this happens, leave the ******* wagon alone
