HOW TO: Tranny swap.
How-To: Tranny Swap
Car = 99 Civic, d16y7
Tranny = 95 ex tranny
1.) remove air intake, various sensors, distributor, starter, etc. until there is nothing left but the tranny
Seperate the axles from the tranny. This is a nice "how-to" for replacing axles.

3.) Loosen the tranny mounts & bolts holding the tranny to the engine block.
4.) Jack the engine block at the oil pan. *place an big piece of wood between the oil pan & jack*
5.) Tranny should slide off and fall out. It will be heavy, not as heavy as an auto tranny, but heavy enough. I suggest putting some old blankets and a pillow underneath to salvage it if you want.
6.) Installation is the reversal of the steps.
I don't think I've missed anything. If you need more help PM me.
