sup guys, my starter on my 89 civic DX hatch went, so I replaced it with one from pep boys (Bosch), and 1 week later it gave up, so I got another one, and this one gave up in 2 days! I'm wondering if there's something wrong with my car, or is it just that pep boys starters suck? Please help, this ******* sucks. Thanks alot guys!

 

Pep Boys starters do suck (mine died in less than a year after getting on ) but I think you may have some issue with something electrical frying your starters. Mine got fried once because the ground wire from the "neg-bat-post to chassis to tranny" was, uhhhh, not there cuz my dumbass removed it when I did my battery in the trunk swap. I guess too much 12+ power fried it without having a proper ground wire to get rid of the extra power or something like that. Just check out what is going on around your starter and all that.
