please help, eg+ forum sux, i've got a problem with tensioner bolt.
ok, here's the deal, first off my car died the other day after doing a swap into it. now i figured out why it wouldn't start back up, the timing was off. It was the tensioner it wasn't tighted down, so i tightened it down, started the car up, no problems, i was super happy. Then i went back under the hood only to discover that the belt was loose again, so i put a coat hanger down there, pulled up on the tensioner as much as possible tightend the bolt as much as possible, started the car ran for about 20 seconds turned it off, checked the timing belt again, and same FREAKIN problem, the damn tensioner was loose again, so i stuck a coat hanger down there again, and yup i pulled up and it pulled up. It's not falling down or anything when i'm tighting the bolt so i, just don't know what to do, i'm so depressed now, please help me.'
ps. sorry to put this in yalls forum (it used to be mine) but the eg+ forum sux, all sorts of people trying to talk about non-tech junk. thanks for the help guys.

so does anybody have anything to say as to what the problem is. the spring may be worn out, but that shouldn't stop it from being able to be pulled up by a coat hanger then tightned, it gets loose everytime i start the damn engine. thanks guys.
