ok well i got this tranny for my car and its a 91 civic si , yet on the tranny in marker it says d15b, which is an hf , or dx motor. and im not sure on tranny codes i only know engine codes, so if any one knows what the tranny code should be for an si that would be great all i remeber is that it started with L3-something on the one i got. any help would be great.

 

Yeah, my Si said L3 also.... you're good to go. Just uh, slip it through the gears, and if there's six (5 forward + 1 Rev.) of em, congrats. good luck.

 

the L3 means nothing..

There are stamps in the bell housing of the tranny....

Look for a pl3-6000 or something like that..thats the only way other then putting it in gear and spinning the input shaft and counting revolutions, short of taking it apart..
