Bob-DC2,
Are you going to dyno tune? If so please post your results. I'm actually not very far from EF-1 and was thinking of having Trackmasters install M24 cams with EF-1 valvetrain. Would like to know performance numbers if you get them. Thanks!

trackmasters will certainly be doing some tuning. im actually up in the bay area, and a friend owes me some dyno time, so i might get it roughly tuned here, then once im doing adding stuff go to trackmasters

Adding some stuff? So what's your setup going to be when it's all done? I saw Rocket's post on p/p your engine. Looks really nice!

Does he actually cut the manifold in half to port? Or everything from the outside?

I will let david chime in on exactly what he does, because I dont really know.

But on the gsr intake manifold you can actually unbolt it and the center will be exposed.
i think it was designed that way to have access to the butterflys if they were to need servicing

I'm also interested in your cams. What do you recommend for a JDM ITR. I will probably keep the stock valvetrain. It is my daily driver and can't afford down time.

I reccommend upgrading the springs even with stock cams. I've seen really really bad valve float in stock heads with stock cams. Valve float is a no no.

For stock B18C's M21's or M22's are good.

Would the M21s or M22s and valvetrain sustain road racing applications? I'm going to be try some road racing next year and need everything to last.
