Default ZC Swap ECU Cel Code 4

I have just completed a ZC swap into a 88 DX CRX. I converted the harness from a DX to ZC. The car will start and run but i get a CEL Code 4. CYP Crankshaft postion sensor. Now for this engine it is the sensore mounted to the exsaust car? correct. I ran new wire from the sensor to the ECU C1 and C2. I also tried another ECU (Iam using pm6). Should i be using shilded wire? Also i have the connections using butt connectors should i have these soldered? any ideas let me know.

i had this same problem but on my car it wouldnt rev over 3100 rpm so what i did was take off my ecu cover and found out that the wires were being shorted, the y were bear and were touching the ecu panel so i resoldered them put some electrical tape to seal them up right and boom no more code # 4. ive also heard the if you have them switched it gives that code so dbl check your connections.
good luck

I though you are supposed to run the two wires NOT used by the DIST to the cam/crank angle sensor?

Thats what it did, I made a jumper connector using old a6 dizzy connectors and had 2 left over. I didnt run any wires directly to the ecu.
