Car backfire?

Default Car backfire?

I have a 89 hatch with a d16a6 in it. Whenever i floor the gas pedal and then let up and floor it again the car backfires everytime! And whenever i keep the pedal to the floor it just bogs down until i let up. Whats wrong?

Is the sound coming from your engine bay, or the exhaust?

Yeah, the bogging is probably the timing.

maybe a fuel problem. but yea i agree with these guys on the timing

checked timing, its good, and it still bogs down, and yea the sound is coming from exhaust
