Does the current Honda Prelude use same filter as ITR?
My Mom has a Prelude, and my stepdad (who has a 97 accord and keeps filters around that i steal all the time) was going to change the oil...he called the honda dealer and they said it was a different oil filter, so they ended up just taking it to the dealer to get it done. The part numbers were slightly different, but the first 5 numbers (i think) were the same. It's my understanding that all honda/acuras except the NSX use the same filter, D tells me there's several part numbers for what is essentially the same filter. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks!
YOu could always reference the AUtozone filters. THe Integr uses the M104 Mobile 1 filter so check and see what the lude uses there.
I can see how it might use a different filter since it is a larger engine but I really don't know.

same filters for all honda's/acuras from 88-01, except NSX, and insigt, from what i understand. from crv, to accord, to cl, to tl, to lude, etc.
Not only do Insight use a different filter but '01 Civic has a different one as well, though the common one WILL fit on '01 Civic, the suggested one is different...
So, yes, ITR and current 'lude use the same filter
