Default Does anyone know what OEM Brake Pad Material is?

I have a 2000 Honda Accord Sedan Special Edition.

Ok, so I called the dealer and asked them, "what material is the brake pads?" and the guy said "it's organic."

So I called my local Pep Boys and asked for OEM Replacement brake pads. He gives me the price, and I ask him "what material is it?" He tells me it's ceramic. So I tell him, "Do you have organic? He tells me, "This Pep Boys only caries OEM Honda Parts when it's avaiable."

So now I'm confused. I decide to call another Honda dealership and ask the parts center the same question. This time the guy tells me the OEM ones are semi-metallic.

So guys........ what is it?
1. Organic
2. Ceramic
3. Semi-Metallic
4. EBC Green Stuff (if you guys pick this one, I'm gonna kick someone's ***. LoL)

they are organic not ceramic or semi metalic ..... a easy way to see if yours are metalic is to pull the old ones off and look to see if you have any metal in it ...

but most honda pads are organic i really recomend that you buy original honda parts they last longer then any aftermarket brakes i have used

actually if you look closely the AEM pads are made by Nissin, which also make the Honda OEM pads! haha so i doubt you gain anything from AEM. As for greenstuff, those bastards wear out in 10min. Axxis pads i've never tried. Just letting you know!
