Default Tire Help....

Hey guys, i'm buying new tires and wheels for my teg, its a 96 SE, i'm just wondering if you could help me out letting me know if when i turn this tire will rub on my car, the tires are Yokohama AVID H4's in size 205/40R-16 83H and the wheels, even tho i dont think it matters, are Enkei CDR9's size 16/7 4-100/114 40S, also, in the future, i might lower my car with an eibach prokit, which lowers the car 1.3 inches, will it rub then? thanks a lot.

I don't think they will rub. I am lowered ~1inch on H&R OE/KYB AGX's and I am running 215/40R16's on 16x7 wheels. I have never ever rubbed.

I am lowered about 2 inches on 205/40/17's. No rubbing. When I bought the car, it rubbed, but it was slammed. Maybe 2.5 inches.

you should go with 205/45-16 tires though

205/40 are rather small and will through off your speedo quite a bit
