Is there any way to verify that a rear lip is an authentic honda OEM one? I'm possibly purcahsing a used one tommorrow.

as long as it fits good.........there should be the word "honda" on the inside somewhere i would assume.

im pretty sure oem lips are made from flexible polyurethane... just like the SI front lip on our cars. If its abs plastic u can tell by holding it. if it feels rigid and can easily crack then its prolly not oem

 

All OEM Honda Accessories say "HONDA" somewhere on the lip. I think it even has the part number. If it does not say "HONDA" then it's not.

 

Where are you getting this lip from?

I'm buying it off a friend of a friend, and the only reason I'm paying a little more than I wanted to is because he claims it's a honda OEM rear lip.

Is it really easy to install since it's an OEM piece?

 

Real easy install as long as you get all the bolts.
