That's how big the 16v batteries are. It weighs 43lbs, but you get to remove the alternator and brackets. We mainly have it because the fuel pump puts out alot more fuel at 16v than at 12v. You wouldn't believe how much fuel it takes to make alot of power on methanol. Anyone notice how big the line into the pump is?

IM gonna guess -14?

hey tony, i just noticed that you may want to try adding some helium to the argon, you get less of the white stuff. why dont you go to a mechanical pump?
We're already setup for the weldon and it's working for now. How do you mix helium with the argon? I heard there was a new tungsten (purple in think) that results in less white stuff on aluminum, have you heard of it? I've messed with the balance on the welder and it doesn't seem to change the white stuff (what's that called anyway?). I was wondering how to minimize it.

hey Tony, why did you guys switch from the PWR barrel style cooler?
Also how many gallons is that water tank, it looks huge! And is that a 46mm waistgate and 50mm BOV, that too looks HUGE!!
Nice setup and I like how all the weight is setup.
Nice manifold Geoff!

PWR = Pressure Drop
That new Prescison setup is too tight, and I love how the weight is all in front of the axle-line...mad traction, y0.

i dont think it was pressure drop so much, but the fact that the intercooler was too short and wouldnt cool the intake charge enough. i think tony even mentioned something about the old spearco having better cooling than the new pwr they had on there for awhile. i dunno.
btw...the car is beatiful
edit- thanks for the link geoff. your pics are nice. got a laugh while looking too. "this manifold rules"
