Default 96-98 replica ctr lips?

Do any of you guys know if the replicas from streetstyler.com are exact mirror image of the authentic ones? they did say that they are, but wanted to get opinions on them if any...

isn't that what all replicas say? they look pretty close to the real thing, but the fitment is usually worse.

from what streetstyler is telling me... "the fitment is exact that it is tough to install because there is no excessive give. IT bolts directly up."

should i take that comment as a positive or a negative?

i have a replica, it's made by ABS dynamics, it fits tight, but it wasn't a huge pain to put on & it looks good. nothing is going to fit like OEM... so i can't complain about mine.

I've been looking for this lip lately. But I don't understand why most shops now make the 96-98 ctr lips look like the 99-00. Did you guys notice that?

2 different lips for the 96-98 bumper. One is a "Type R style" which is basically like a 99 Si lip (or bigger EK4 stock lip) made to fit the 96-98 bumper. The "CTR" lip is the actual JDM Civic style lip. Some shops or people selling them aren't always descriptive enough and just call it a generic name, thus confusing people when they go to order it up.

if someone gets the streetstyler one soon, post some pics and tell how it fit, until then my money is at JDMshit.com cuz front and rear there are $200 and i have a feeling those will fit better especially since there is an actual pic of the lip ont he car, streetstyler has a CTR on their website to show the lip

i can never find CTR lips for 96-98 anymore. a few years ago they were all over ebay and nobody wanted them cause body kits were cool, now everyone wants them and the only things you can find are the "type-r style" lips that look like a 99 Si with larger flares.

I got a CTR lip from ebay. I bought it like year or so ago. Never used on put on. I test fitted it on my car and it fits fine. but my only prob is the inside of the lip and where it meets the bumper in the "mouth" part of the front bumper, it isnt cut perfectly. but I never used it.

btw, its for sale for 40+shiping

get an ebay one. they're not a perfect fit, but just requires a little stretching.
