Default 92 Accord Help

My GF's 92 accord is having a problem. Its Auto, when you go from P to R its very hard to move it into gear. They said she needs to have a cable replaced. Im assuming the shifter cable? Has anyone had this problem?

it is the shift cable, they rust up over the years on the end by the trans.

Yes, it's the shift cable. Sometimes you can lube the cable where it attaches to the trans, but most of the time, it won't matter; you will need to replace the cable.

Not really. The cable is a little pricey, though.
