i was going to buy it for my street car
and the guy that fabbed it said it was going to be 2 grand, I told him its worth 1.4k at the most. so i bought something else for half what he charged and me new one is chrome too

there isnt too many options besides the fortin trannies which havent proven themselves quite yet. Maybe next season well see people with aftermarket trannies, I kow a couple that might have something like that.

Quick question fabman? Why route the intake to the other side? Where you guys just trying to make the intake track a little longer? Great work by the way.

i dunno, i thought steph was doing pretty dam good, which i STILL dunno why aem stopped racing the fwd...that thing was WAY ahead of its time and still is....8.1x and 180 mph...

Youve got a good point but when those trannies cost roughly 5 grand + they just dont have the consistancy that I would expect. Steph did do good but he mainly ran mid 8's and did have alot of trouble with that tranny same with shawn, ed, and lisa and her car only ran one event. I mean its proven to get the car down the track quicly, but in my view it holds like a b series tranny on a hot rod car yeah it works but just dosent hold......my 2 pennies
