Is this bad? 2.5 header and 2.5 cat with 2.36 exhaust
is this bad to do, or just stupid? The reason i ask is because I have the jdm header and carsound cat which are both 2.5. I also found a great great deal on an apex N1. The N1 I believe is 60mm outter diameter. Is it silly to use the exhuast with this header cat combo? or is it possible to find a reducer flange from 2.5 to 2.36? Any opinion/suggestions will great be appreciated.
Thx for anyhelp.
Oh BTW i got the Apex N1 brand new for 330 shipped. great deal

Dave of SMSP does make a 2.5"-2.36" adapter. Jason (DarthVadeR) has one installed with his Toda header/ Tanabe RM exhaust. Think he picked up a couple of ponies last dyno pull with it. Essentially you cut the bottle-neck out at the cat/B-pipe connection and have this adapter welded in. Shot Dave an email at smsproducts@carolina.rr.com !

Thumbs up to you guys
thx for the info
408: How loud is this setup? How were the gains?
Is it worth the extra couple bucks to get the bottle neck thing and cut my Bpipe?
