What is your definition of stock? what r the stock whp for an ITR? once u change cams or pistons, or chip the ecu...it isnt stock anymore. So IMO i would say no based on my view of "stock". if u change pistons, cams, chip ecu, manifold(i/E) it aint stock anymore. Do u mean "stock" bottom end?
#1 search is your friend
#2: it will be VERY HARD if not impossible to get 200whp out of a stock ITR motor w/out cams at the very least.
the only thing that will get you anywhere near 200whp is a SMSP/Hytech header a 2.5 inch exhaust intake, and cam gears with TUNING. Chances are you wont see 200whp but you will get close..
GeorgeKnighton got 191whp i believe w/ a SMS header cam gears and tuning
I myself had 187 whp w/ just a SMS header no tuning or cam gears.

Well if you aren't already getting 200 whp from you r stock R, then the answer is no, or else it wouldn't be stock now would it. Now you can get it with minimum mods like
Skunk2 stage 1 cams
Hondata
Comptech header or smsp header or TODA header
Intake and Exhaust
Skunk2 stage 1 cams
Hondata
Comptech header or smsp header or TODA header
Intake and Exhaust

i've had a couple of ITRs doing about 205-210 @ wheels ... was a while ago but here are some of the mods i remember the owners having:
- toda spec c cams/jun stage 3 cams; cam gears with valvetrain upgrade
- milled itr head 30 thous with *flat* endyn valves; stock itr valves
- stock 2 layer headgasket
- spoon header/toda header/2.5" testpipe with 2.5" exh piping and muffler all custom made
- one variant of my Toda spec C program for OBD1 ecu; apex VAFC
- ctr n1 pulley
- jdm 4.7 final drive
- 97 h22a injectors
prolly a few more mods, but i can;t remember them, but both cars had at least the stuff listed above.

search my friend. I swear I have helped out on 3 post almost identical to this within the last 4 day.
BTW yes you can do it but you will need cams tuning and other basic boltons.

greg i think he wanted stock bottom end
my guess for 200whp:
filter on a stick with custom heat shielding
endyn cf intake manifold or a ported and polishsed itr intake manifold
hondata intake manifold gasket
cam gears
smsp header or hytech
good exhuast
hondata S200 with at least 2-3 hours on the dyno for tuning.
you might hit it. but it will take some good luck and you can probably only hit it on a dynojet

I just got a 2001 ITR and it already had the JDM 4-1 header and AEM CAI. I threw a set of Skunk2 Stage2 cams (GE camgears) and a Skunk2 valvetrain, some RC 310's, and Hondata. Went to Church Automotive, and he managed to pull 197 hp out of the motor, which is equal about 185-190 whp on a DynoJet. Once I get the SMSP header that I ordered, I think that the motor will be really close to 200 whp.
Block and head are untouched-stock.

EPgonzalez got like 210 whp. If I remember correctly, he had jdm pistons, mugen headgasket and valvetrain, mugen exhaust and header, mugen ecu and c12. Definitely no cams though.
thank you for the good advise.....1 question??? I have never heard of SMSP headers but it looks like the way to go based on everyone's feedback... where can I get more info about SMSP???
SMSP (Dave) is a user on this board. You can IM him or e-mail him.
