What is a really good suspension set up for 1500-2000 dollars to make car look lowered also. Adjustables are a positive. Thanx

Also- look into ZEAL and Apex'i N1's- both are a little more but are also well worth the money. Truechoice/Koni is also excellent as well.

Tein RA's are way good. Lightweight and more of a race shock than the HA's..
the cost is closer to $2000 though...HA's are around $1500

I've heard Lowdown and Tein are great. I am going with the Lowdown in a couple of months.

I'd say TEIN HA or Zeal Function B2. THey are under $1500 and the RSA and function B6 are over $1500. THe Mugens are good but they don't have adjustable shocks from what I have seen.

Mugen lowdown has the stiffness adjustment but not height.. Tein RA is better left for track.. Very stiff and noisy for street. RA has a bigger shock body and it's aluminum. HA has the 16 way stiffness adjustment.

I personally like the Zeal Coilover Function B6. It's great for street and awsome on the track. Big fat shock body like the Tein RA and it's silver not green. No where near as noisy as the RA which also comes with pillow ball top and fully assembled. Very easy to adjust its height (will not alter spring rate) and it has 6 way damping adjustment. I can get you a great deal on the B6 if you like.

I would get the Low Boy coilover setup for real! They are tizight yo! I have the Apex N-1 Dampers and I like them alot. They have ride height and damping adjustablity. There are 13 damper settings. After I have had them for a while they got a little noisy, but hey, who said the ITR is a quiet car anyways.

Anyone ever try the Tanabe suspension system? Are they as good as Apexi?
