WTB: 92-95 Hatchback (CX preferred) in Texas
I've made up my mind and am planning on building an H22A Hatchback when I get to TX.
I'm actually gona get the engine package, axles, HASport mounts from Hmotorsonline.com. Then after I get it all ready I'm gona need a vehicle. So if anyone has any cars "perfect for swap" let me know. I'm gona be moving about 1 hour north of Austin on the 1st of September. Looking to pay the regular price of a stock CX but no more than $2500 unless its very clean.
P.S. - Please keep all the negative H22A EG comments to yourself. This doesn't apply to everyone but seems like the select few always have something negative to say about H22's. I understand the "HUGE" weight difference and that I "won't be able to steer" are all concerns that you never witnessed but are sure it's true. I think if I can handle diesel trucks w/o power steering then I should be OK with an H22 Hatch. Even though "it's useless unless you plan on doing only straight line driving". - Thanks for your concern.

I've got a '92 CX with hasports, an engine from Steve at HMO, and DSS axles
Be prepared for a PITA....mine still doesn't run right.
But for the hatch, look in autotrader...I've seen a few in the last few weeks.
EDIT: The steering is fine. Even with my 14" tires....it doesn't feel a tad different from my old b18b.
