The customer insisted on a divided collector for his T3 GT series turbo(1.12 AR!) and this was the only thing I could get to work. So far Id say it was a success...

I started at 2pm yesturday, worked till 7. Then about 3pm to 7 again...so I guess not that long. This is NOT including the collector. Thats 4 hours on top of everything...

Ive been welding for a year and a half, TIGging since February. And yes, new **** is VERY fun to make. I think I have the best occupation in the world, I have fun, I pay the bills, and I like doing it
The 3rd degree burn per day sucks though. I have 3 in various stages of healing right now

question... do you have random piping just laying around... liek hundreds of yards of it or what? cuz you pump these manifolds out like a white trash woman does babies...

Damn Tinker, every time i make something i think to myself "This is pretty bad ***" then i see things like this and i start thinking. It's just hard to find buyers for odd things such as this. I'm thinking i might just have to make something and use it my self. Great work Cody! Keep em coming!

And if the people he copied who copied who copied would stop copying
The welds on the manifold look nice, but the manifold is totally impractical. The bends on the wastegate tube make me want to cry. And I cant seem to stop from banging my head on the desk looking at all of those useless bends
The only purpose i see this manifold serving is to demonstrate your fabrication skills (which isnt really a bad thing...)

i'll move for a
on this too. If someone doesen't want to be copied, then copyright/patent it. That's really all you can do.
and i belive the manifold looks the way it does to please the customer, not his own recommended design, so you have to give him that.
and quit posting **** like this. It's not good for the forum morale.
