Good Idea?
Ok, i dotn have enough $$ for b16 swap so im thinking about doing this: I have a ZC engine (DOHC) And i also have a d16a6 block with nothing in it. And i have the d16a6 head and all of that. Would it be good and would it run good if i put the ZC pistons (PM7) in the d16a6 block with th d16a6 head? A site said it should give like 11.5:1 Compression. Is that a powerful engine in a 90 CRX DX? What times should I expect with no bolt-ons?
i would save your money and go for the B16. It will be a much better platform to work with. If your in a rush, try a search for people who have done it. Im assuming you will probally be in 15's with that setup at best.
i wouldnt be makin more HP with this setup than i would with the ZC? There is no way i can save for a b16 so thats just out of the question. So what do you guys think is better? The ZC? or the high compression block?
