max_cfm, alaniz, & endyn have done work afaik. im sure there are more people that have done it, that the general public doenst know about yet either

I think a bunch of race teams are coming out with k-series motors in their cars next season, which means whatever head porter they used for b-series heads is most likely going to be doing their k-head.

so im guessing most big honda head porters have already done k stuff

By coincidence, I talked to a well known head porter about this issue yesterday. He said that he has not done a K-series yet. Said that a lot of people are worried about their warranty and so forth. He said that a couple of guys have experimented with them, but that as time goes on, much more will become known about the K-series heads, as more guys mess with them.

It`s going to be a while before we see any really crazy k-series (all motor). There isn`t even any decent cams of the market for them yet.

If your power goals are less than 240-250 whp, I don't think the headwork will do you much good right now. The stock head is pretty good. As voodoo said, we need bigger cams. Toda is testing their B's now, but we haven't seen any really monster cams yet (although some bigger CAT cams will be tested soon - no affiliation with my company).

On the two K-series cars with ported heads that I've dyno'd, the new head was worth 6-8 hp on average with all the other mods (including upgraded cams) already on the car. This will probably improve as bigger cams come into play and as porters learn more about the head.

Supposedly HyTech made an engine package that consisted of pistons/rods/valvesprings/retainers/cams and a modified intake manifold that made 300whp@10,000rpms... Stock 2.0L Displacement.

They probably used some pretty decent sizes cams to make that power! So call hytech and see if they can sell you just the cams!

I wish I had the money/resources to build a Sleeved K24a block, w/ a K20a-R Head....

On the dyno at C.A.T.'s it made 267/173 if I recall correctly, he's making some revisions to the header(didn't like the latest changes), different intake manifold, and a slight revision to the cams that he has. $7,500 plus installation charges for the pistons, rods, cams, valve springs, intake manifold, header, exhaust, reflash of the ecu.

HyTech is currently working on a 2.3L allmotor monster, we should be hearing something about it within the next 3 weeks, then you'll have the Supercharger and turbo kits by the end of the year(hopefully). The shop was rather busy when I was there last week, and the car is rather fast on the 2.0L setup.

No-Dyna Pack-connects to the hubs. Reads higher than a DynoJet.
